Terms of Service

RYFF is operated as a Portland-first platform for connecting musicians. By creating an account, accessing, or using RYFF (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to create a RYFF account and use the Service. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. RYFF is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Use a strong, unique password and keep it private. Notify us promptly at support@ryffstage.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You may change your password or sign out of all sessions at any time from your account settings.

RYFF lets you publish content, including your profile (bio, instruments, genres, skill level, availability, and neighborhood), profile photos, embedded audio links, and messages you send to other members. You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting it, you grant RYFF a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the Service (for example, showing your profile to potential matches).

You are responsible for the content you post. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share, and do not post audio embeds or links that infringe someone else’s rights.

RYFF is a community. Treat other members with respect. You agree not to harass, threaten, impersonate, spam, or abuse other members, and not to post unlawful, hateful, or misleading content. You may block any member; blocking removes you from that member’s view and excludes them from your matches and search. To report content or behavior that violates these terms, contact us at support@ryffstage.com. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these rules.

RYFF surfaces potential collaborators using a match score based on factors such as availability, genres, experience, and location. This is a discovery tool, not a promise. We do not guarantee that you will find a bandmate, gig, collaborator, or any particular outcome, nor do we vet or endorse the members you connect with. Use your own judgment when arranging to meet or work with anyone you find on RYFF.

You may deactivate or delete your account at any time from your account settings. When you request deletion, your account is hidden from everyone immediately and permanently removed after a six-month window; you can restore it by logging back in within that window. See our Privacy Policy for how deletion is handled. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that pose a risk to the community.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. RYFF is not liable for interactions between members, for content posted by members, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon.

We may update these terms as RYFF evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
